How the is this racist? That comment is FACT. That piece of information was printed on www.bbc.co.uk/football when it said England fans were voting for the #2 player to make Ronaldo lose. Under that, it said "a recent campaign has been launched in Scotland to get people to vote for Ronaldo to try and lessen the damage being done by the English".

coup the point is not all scottish people were wanting england to lose or voting for ronaldo to win it, now if you had said a minority then fine as i accept that some people were but the fact is the way these things are portrayed is that it was every non english person in britain |

Theres nothing racist in those comments u idiot. Where are the insults. All the insults are saying scots cant have a valid opinion on the football team because the scottish team is crap. Thats just a football fact that thje scottish team isnt good, not an insult based on scotland or a point of racism, if i say Latvia's team is crap, does that then make me anti-latvian. Like u said its only football. If someone called u a in scottish whatever then u'd have a case. Plenty of irish and scottish people on this thread have said things like "The English are just bitter", i'm not going round calling them racists and u should know better. I'm sure Sy and Coup will be delighted to see u calling them racists, and i can sure u their not and its just so insulting.
No one on this thread is actually anti-irish or anti-scottish, some of us just think ur football teams are crap and u've said things to the same affect about England. Can i call u a racist now then? What Sy said was about scottish and irish fans just going against England fans no matter what is true. Scotland fans bought Trinidad and Tobago shirts to support them in the WC just to be anti-england. To me thats a lot more racist than anything i've seen on here, just hate us because we're English. I don't hate people because of their nationality and neither do Sy or Coup. Those comments are not personal to a nation they are purely football based. How u've taken offence to them after some of the crap people have wrote about England is beyond me. |
