| Chose might be the wrong word here. He headbutted the guy infront of gazzilion viewers, ruined his reputation and quite possibly frances chance to win the cup. I doubnt anybody would consciously choose that option. Guess he was enraged to the point where he acted on instinct. |

to be fair he is (was) one absolutely fantastic player, too bad he has some occasional brainfade moments, and he decided to have one of those in a world cup final. |

don't get me wrong, zidane is one of the all time best football players to ever grace a pitch.
BUT
old zidane should just off, i'm glad this was his last game because he has been absolutely the past 2 years. he played 2 great games in this world cup and suddenly everybody wants him to win the trophy |
