Maybe over here canadians like to tease southern americans about their intelligents...but speaking from experience, internationally polaks carry the heavyweight crown labeled 'dunce'.
It's not something I'm proud of as a pole, but have learned to except. Maybe one day I won't be able to hide my errors behind the phrase "i'm polish, and blonde, be happy I manage to walk upright :toothless "
Edit: reading this old thread made me rofl |

you dont? i do, sort of self-explanatory.
Triple is an amount of 3.
Tasks are things you do.
Do 3 things at the same time and less attention is paid to each; thus things like spelling don't always get covered.
btw. after 'spelling' you needed a period. |

There are a lot of retarded Canadians just like there are a lot of retarded Americans.
There are just way more Americans so there are a lot more American retards. |

I was at the guvernment at labor of love. I think it was the 2nd one, sasha and ferry corsten were headlining.
I am from america, born in america. From Connecticut/New York area. I sound American.
So some candian starts talking to me about how great Sasha is playing (and he was putting on a monster show) and goes WOAH YOU HAVE A CRAZY ACCENT MAN, where you from?
And i am like Guess.
And the guy goes uhhhhh HOLLAND!!!!!!!!??
And I am like uhhhh no I am from Connecticut.
And he was like ohhh mannn i was so sure you were from Holland.
So I go why?
And he is like I dont know man you just seemed like you were from Holland.
Decide for yourself whether he was 1)stupid 2)on drugs or 3) some of both
In any case, Canadians are stupid too. Not all of them. Not most of them. But I have definitely met a few out and about in Toronto.
And I know he was Canadian because he said he was from London, Ontario |

| This thread reminds me of one time I went to Ithaca, NY for a Frat party . I went to a gas station around the area to buy cigarettes, they asked me for ID, I showed it to them. The gas attendants were like "wow this is from Canadia right?" I'm like "yeah, but it's pronounced Canada" and then they were trying to correct me "No, you're Canadian so you're from Canadia" I just said sure and gave them a confused look and walked off. Ithaca is like a 2 hour drive from the Canadian border, I don't know if they were trying to play a joke or if they were actually serious... |

I once kept trying to push a door open that was clearly labeled 'PULL'.
For a second I was mad at the people inside for not letting me in...until I read the sign. sheesh:rolleyes: |

I remember channel 4 OMNI TV were asking people on the streets to sing the Canadian anthem and like half of the people didn't know, they weren't asking like new immigrants, they were asking fluent English speaking people. I'm sure if you ask any American to sing the Star Spangled Banner they would proudly sing it. |

In my place of business (a motel), I meet many people that seem stupid (most are from hamilton).
IE.
-Turning up the thermostat thinking it controls the A.C.
-Asking me why their are no towels in the bathroom (they are clearly hung on a rung beside the door)
-Asking me if I sell Alcohol...WTF? never seen a MOTEL that sells booze
-Asking me for a 'young asian' DOUBLE WTF??? its a MOTEL not a brothel....
there are lots more but these should suffice. |
