driving a few hours after alcohol or while stoned on weed is a bad idea for me and I simply don't do it...ever. Driving AFTER coming down on certain "stimulants" is quite easy and I doubt a copper would even know if you were to get pulled over. You just need to give yourself sufficient time to calm down, have a tea, try to eat (impossible at times I know) etc.

But usually we just take the greyhound or my friend drives since he takes antidepressants and can't get to the same level of fun as the rest of us. ;) So he's usually totally fine to drive and we've never been in a bad situation except missing an exit or something.

Not the smartest thing you can do eh?

Odds will catch up to you, most likely if you keep up the sketchy driving

Sketchy and driving is really just tired and driving. High and drivng ..... that's a different story, but still not nearly as bad as drunk .......

No, we know that the arrests were for the belief of a serious crime. I'm not trying to make a moral judgement based on alleged crime itself. Your "I heard that a bouncer raped a girl when she was G-ing out" post made it sound like fact. You said this based on 2 things

1. A news article that say something different than what you said. - Yes, it does say that there was an alleged rape, but he only people who knew about the events that occured are the parties involved. We shouldn't be speculating about it. An interpretation of the events that occured is based on the accounts of these parties. This interpretation may or may not be true, and can vary depending on how each person interprets what they hear. It is worth remembering that the media likes to sensationalize things, and given the fact that there is an 18 year old girl involved, there is an appeal to emotion.

2. A "I have a friend who told me that..." argument. This really has no credibility whatsoever. Just because your friend is an employee at The Zone (or at least you say he is), doesn't mean he knows what happened, and that what he says should be taken as truth.

My point is, you shouldn't be making dangerous statements like that based on false or weak premises.

I am certainly not implying that the majority of the of Comfort Zone goers are upstanding citizens. In fact, I believe it to be quite the opposite. What I was pointing out was the attitude of people who think that their group of friends are the only non-sketchy people in the entire room.

And as for your comment about 2 distinct groups of people in The Zone, I don't think it's as black and white as that at all. What exactly would these 2 groups be? Sketchy people, and non-sketchy people? I think that's oversimplifying the issue. What classifies someone as sketchy?

the two groups are:
1/ having a generally good time group, probably high but not disgustingly so

2/ people who are so out of it, eyes rolling, falling over, puking, etc.

Group 2 is what gives CZ the reputation it has.

It may be a different story but it doesn't mean it's not as bad? How many signs are on the 401 that say if you're tired....PULL OVER!

There are times I've driven home on the 401 alone and been super tired...and I've pulled off at a rest stop and slept. Sketchy driving is NOT the same as tired driving. Sketchy driving, you may not be paying attn to things...tired driving, your eyes are closing!

Sketchy, tired, high, or drunk are ALL NOT GOOD...regardless how they're ranked.

You're right, they're not good, none of them. Just trying to say that some are better than drunk. I think sketchy may even be the best of the list, at leat you're wired and awake. And you can make a game out of being a "super awesome number one driver"

Lets stop digressing and get back to talking about how much fun the zone is.

And I have the perfect way to do it.

+1.

Would I look lame if I didn't dress up? I don't know if I have enough time to go searching for a costume for Halloween this year.

I agreed with you Graham, sorry you missed that. I hope you didn't mean dangerous as in now the Hell's Angels will be after me.
