You mean you had to vote for him before November 14th 2005 or else you'll get food poisoning?

I don't understand those of you who need it spelled out for you.

DJ Dan and Christopher Lawrence have MASSIVE fanbases. What is so hard to understand?

Just because it defies the conventions and assumptions some of you project on the dance music community, doesn't mean it's wrong or somehow anymore illusory than Armin, Tiesto, or PVD landing in the top 5.

I said it wouldn't. It wasn't a united effort, unlike the Mikey Mike scheme.

EXACTLY!

I for one, am glad to see some new faces in the top ten.

It was getting stale.

The most surprising to me is Above and Beyond. They had a really off year in my opinion yet they jumped up 10 ranks to #10. Tri-State was subpar yet it still was able to get them enough exposer to jump into the top 10.

I don't think Dj Dan has more fans than Sasha or Ferry. And what about Eric Prydz? Did people forget about Call On Me and the SHM bandwagon?

Obviously myspace spamming played an important role this year.

American votes made a huge impact on these results. DJ Dan and Christopher Lawrence are popular in America, moreso than Sasha or Ferry. It may be hard for you to believe, but it's the truth.

And Eric Prydz never playing a single gig in the states = poor showing in the poll.

Why is this so hard to get?

True, forgot about that.

Perhaps because the international community wants to continue to look down on the scene in America as somehow inferior, undeveloped, or simply nonexistent. Not to mention the fact that it seems that some Americans from larger cities can't seem to grasp the idea that there is an EDM scene outside of Miami, New York, and LA.
