I think that DJ sets weren't in past globally like now or trance in general

Like Latin America Asia ,Africa meaning that trance & DJs spreading from its core USA& Europe i mean that the rest of the world can't rarely
differntiate between old trance tunes & modern ones 4 ex or not
witnessed with the latest era of electronic music like the core .So world Top Djs or producers depends on the NEW WORLD
U can see this when u see Pvd live in Asia for ex u can see the great audence more than many places in europe .SO who've great ranks
in THE POLL know that very well

May b wrong but may b probably right

i'm lost. that made no sense to me. :conf:

I was hoping Sean Tyas made the list. I love listening to everything of his.

I was also hoping that armin would be first too.

^^ I'm surprised Sean Tyas is not on the list.

well 06 was really his breakthrough year. he needs to tour more, exposure is the key to upping your rank. in fact i'm convinced that the only thing you need to do to climb djmag's poll is to tour constantly.

I dont see why people are so move dby this list. it sjust anothe rlist...yawn. back in the day it might have had some relevance, but now there are so many stupid ranking of all sorts who cares.

And yes these lists can be easy to manipulate. Just imagine all of those free wifi spots around the globe where one could vote from and where the IP address would sho up different? You could drive around from Starbuck to wherever (my local oil changer has free net access) and place a vote.

then there's dynamic ip isps where the ip changes every time you connect. though i suppose the most effective method would be to write a script that automatically votes hundreds of times off rolling proxies

U can see this when u see Pvd live @ Asia for ex u can see the great audinces more than many places in europe (which used to listen to his type of remixing).SO who've great ranks in THE POLL know that very well

Something is more important is the MEDIA. In many radio broadcasts in the new world have recently dj, hot mixes shows . In my country we 've started at 2003 with our local DJs

Last thing that Dj shows 've rarely shows on TVs or've little video clips not like HipHop & Rap

"All bollocks innit"

Why? Fact is this was a global poll and Tyas really isn't very popular outside TA/T.nu.

Some of you don't seem to realise there's life and DJ's outside the TA hype which, more often than not, is just a load of hot air.
