i too am an idealist.. but in this troubled world, sometimes it's hard.. lol i wonder if it was sheer co-incidence that the verdict was handed down 2 days before the midterm elections.. |
yeah, I was thinking the same thing... ironically in my case it just made me even more against the national republican party. (locally where I live, they are the only ones with half a brain, but at the state and national level they seem to have seriously lost thier minds) |

nothing the americans have anything to do with is coincidence. it is all planned, never well planned, always obvious, well timed, poorly executed, obvious and someone at least one person always loses their life. |

I once read somewhere that the chief judge in Colombia had more protection than their President. Could be the same case here. :stongue:
But yes. This verdict is too coincidential to US elections. But then, we're talking politicians here.
Better Saddam rot in a jail cell somewhere until he dies and gradually be forgotten than give him publicity and cause for nuts who actually think he's something worth good. |

kangaroo court... |
Kinda hard to come to a verdict other than guilty considering... well, it's Saddam.
His defence lawyers don't help the cause either, nor his outbursts.
Kinda comical though
Ah well. If you're going to get killed, might as well ensure you leave your name behind |

| If they hung every politician that caused unecessary loss of human life there would be a lot more dead american (or any country for that matter) presidents, including the current one. |

I think that instead of hanging him they should leave him in prison to die all alone and forgotten.
By killing him, he's gonna end up becoming more famous and almost somewhat of a martyr. |

If anyone think that this decision will effect Iraq they need think some more.killing Saddam wont change the current situation in Iraq at all. This will simply be used as a tool for the republicans to win the election. |
