If anyone think that this decision will effect Iraq they need think some more.killing Saddam wont change the current situation in Iraq at all. This will simply be used as a tool for the republicans to win the election. |
It's not matter of what happens to Iraq.
It is matter of Saddam, by what seems clear evidence, has committed heinous crime and deserve punishment. |

I can say the same about Bush, and there are many dictators out in the world and no one seems to care. For some reason Saddam ended up being the most dangerous one out of all of them.:o |

personally Im against this whole thing. Can you honestly tell me that if someone attempted a plot to kill the President of the US that those responsible wouldnt disapear? |
they would arrest and prosecute those responsible, not massacre their whole city.

If they hung every politician that caused unecessary loss of human life there would be a lot more dead american (or any country for that matter) presidents, including the current one. |
bush caused loss of human life in his own country? |

how many thousands of homegrown troops have needlessly died while fighting an unjust war in Iraq?... Bush practically signed thier death sentence over a war his daddy didn't finish. I'm all for family legacies, but this is rediculous. Being soft on terror is the new McCarthyism.
Besides, Bush has been responsible for far more deaths in other countries than Saddam was ever responsible for in Iraq or abroad and I think that is where the comparison was being made by myself and Nu Era. We never said anything about killings at home, although if you count lost soliders then Bush likely still wins over Saddam.
Saddam didn't massacre the entire city just those he found guilty of being involved in the assination attempt... that said, yes there were a lot found to be involved, but he didn't directly seek out to kill off a whole town or race.
The hilter comparison someone else made is a bit over the top for this circumstance as well. |

| direct vs. indirect |
|

so an indirect life taken abroad means less than one taken at home?
A human life is a human life no matter how many miles seperate you.
*I'm assuming that's what you meant by indirect vs direct. If not then I appologize and retract this comment. |
