The English version is better because it's the orginal version, and I feel the set up of the whole show works better with British humour, I don't mind the yank one but it's not a patch on the British version. I think the American Office, while not as hillarious as the British Office, offers far more depth in its characters and themes. The American Office has strayed from the original British version to become a comedy-drama whose tone is completely original and unlike anything I have seen on television before. To say it is must simply mean you are missing everything, which would be hard, because they aren't overly subtle in most of the themes. To say it is worse than the British version is simply personal preference.
