News: I'll be playing at cool grindz this coming friday. I wont have the peak hour slot though, something about one of the dj's brothers birthday...so he's spinning there or somethin.
however, i'll be playing 10-11. Talks going on now about having me be the official bajas after hours dj...they want 2-3
but im trying to get my slot be 1:30-3. People will have left by 2...so if I play at 1:30 I hope to be able to keep the crowd there till it closes, thats the idea. As always though, club owners and business people are pretty shady...so who knows. I'll get back to everyone when it becomes solid.
but cool grindz friday, 10-11 is confirmed. |

damn I already mentioned the time slot...sorry...not much sleep the past few days lol
The whole shots and drinks deals are being THROWN AROUND RIGHT NOW...not solid. The no cover is not solid either...if there is a cover though, it wont be anymore than 3-5 bucks. Seriously though...why wouldn't you pay 5 bucks to support making a scene here? To be honest I saw no money of what was covered at the door...there were mad expenses involved in the event....so its not like I made a huge amount of money. |

| More talks are going on...I may land that spot at bajas for at least the rest of the month playing from about 1:45-3:15. Another idea floating around....that will probably happen...is that bajas will be having a few special events where the club closes at 4-5am. Finally...something a little more like a real club eh? How does the idea of Afterhours with real house music sound TA's?:D |

Nobody else that i've heard in real clubs in tallahassee. I don't consider dj's at chubbys or bajas dropping sandstorm, your body and ty remixes of popular songs real house music. Obviously there are other house dj's in tally fool! |

There is also going to be a feature article in the Tallahassee Democrat coming up soon, on the rise of dj culture in tallahassee...I think it focuses on house music and on hiphop dj's too. |

Its good! I really love both the residents at cool grindz. They both play some great and are quality dj's, real veterans. I def like listening to their sets. Some damn good work!
also, spring fever, the djs and the movement of dance music in tally is featured in an article in pages 10 and 11 of the FSView today!:D :D :D |
