Finishing my last paper up now...had 3 I had to do today...due tomorrow at 12:30. Then a comp lit exam at 6:45...and then im doooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnne.
Then on to get a 30-40 hours a week job for the summer plus my promoting job, plus bajas. Should be a good summer :)
and I have an investor who is hopefully buying me a new cdj tomorrow :)
and what do you mean by keeping dj's around? ESP (Sam) has been around for a few months, and Turk has been there for christ knows how long. I'm also going to try and convince the owner to buy two cdj-1000's for the vip room so I dont have to use my equipment and so he has a real setup in there. That would be nice. What are your summer plans neatski? |

| Dunno who came out last night to Bajas, but thanks to whomever did (if anyone here did)! It was a killer in night. |

Wish I could have. I was WIPED OUT from finals week, didn't end up going anywhere.
Btw by "you being around" in my previous post I just meant that I figured oyu wouldn't be around here for the summer. I figured most people go "home"... (although for me, "home" is here, so here I am). As for summer plans, I'll be traveling a bit in May, but by June I'll be back in Tally and will hopefully find something to keep me occupied. I'd love to get a part-time job related to my major... but maybe I'll go back to waitressing... dunno where though. I did that last summer. |

| Yeahhhh....i'll be putting in a bunch of job apps today to get a 30-35 hour a week job if I can. Taking two summer classes too. The nice thing is that my other "job" (DJing), is a night thing...so if needed i can go right from work, to home real quick, and then out to the club. Talk about exhausted though. |

Cool grindz is closing down, and there will be one more party called Summer Meltdown. DJ's will be neptune and seraphim, both quite talented. I wont be on the roster this time around.
In other news, I will be spinning at Paradigm....tallys best kept secret pretty much. That place is beautiful and the sound is aaammmaaaaazin. Everyone is really friendly there too. The date is May 11th. I think ill be on from 10-12. Thennnn off to bajas for the afterhours from 2-3am. Im going to try and work something out so anyone who goes to paradigm gets in at a reduced price to bajas that night. So, come on out people!
Also, Big daddys was so impressed with house music (of what jenn, carlos and I spun) and the turnout that he will be having another "rave'/"house' night on May 12th. If this night goes over well...which it will....there will be a new established electronic night every other week starting May 26th. Big things are coming to town guys, big things.
Oh and rumor mill has churned up that Oscar G is coming to town...date TBA.

Gonna be so mad if all this stuff goes down while I'm traveling! I'm leaving for Pensacola on the 11th, so I can't do anything that weekend... won't be back from all my stuff until around June 1st.
Is Cool Grindz closing down just for the summer...? Or...? :(!! I love Cool Grindz, I'm going to be pissed if we lose it as a venue. Planning on coming tomorrow night, though. |

me too. it was my first event in tally to try and "prove myself". I got gigs at bajas because of it....and it opened the door for a LOT of other slots around town.
and also another club back home (west palm beach) just closed down. Another one of my most memorable gigs was played there

| Cool Grindz has been seasonal for a while....u sure its gone for good? Neptune always told me it was only open for a few months at a time. As for Underground, yea that sucks but they need more variety there for music, especially in WPB which is next to impossible to keep a club open . |
