...tonight is the big night for tally. The start of something? We'll see.

Cover;
10 bucks
+5 for vip room
2-1 wells
and some other drink specials, cant remember but I know they are decent.
I still dont know if i'm going to start out high energy, and with some more familliar tunes (proper education, at night, etc), or if i'll build a set up like I normally would
It sucks because i'm playing for an "uneducated" crowd for the most part, and i've been "nudged" a bit to play the more famliar way...
but rest assured I will be playing no cheesy comercial .:D |

I got the shaft on that. I pretty much have NO VIP list. I was supposed to have a 10 list....and that got changed about 20 minutes ago due to problems with the door man. I'm really sorry :( Trust me, I wanted to get some friends in for free. It's a matter of greed I guess...
but you can still get in...it just wont be free.

That was a ing KILLER set last night!!! All my non-electronica friend people (haha) were really impressed too, and they don't even know what house IS. I couldn't stop dancing!
You must keep us posted on the promoters and all, because if you're going to be doing the VIP room at Baja's, I'm going to be there a lot more often! Plus I'd like to know what's being said about our "fledgling" EDM scene (awww!) |

Agreed to an extent. You have to understand though that I had to play for mostly non-edm people. When I said commercial a while back I ment like...sandstorm...your body...etc...
And...I dont give no , aftermath is the haha
It's funny because I wasn't even going to play this is not miami...untill some kid came up and requested it...and it was the only serious request I had heard all night (I cant tell you how many people were like: "zomg bob sinclair love generation"), so I dropped it. I had actually made a more progressive latin mashup with the acapellas from this is not with a new angello tune...but didn't get the chance to drop it.
Buuuuuuuuuuut all in all, I had a great time. I hope everyone did too. |

i am including them because of the stuff that has been played in tally since ive been here. ive been to quite a few clubs that had house nights and to many friday nights in the VIP room at bajas and never were those two songs played so considering the circumstances, yes i am |

Yeah i see what you mean for sure. I mean, while I really played my own high energy style, I had to pick a few tracks for the crowd. I was a bit pissed they closed early because I planned on my last track being Groove Armada - Get Down (Henrik B Remix)....such a choon. |
