ha...thanks. I'm glad to hear you TA's are really supporting this and coming out. I hope youre not disappointed! I'm pretty sure you wont be. Despite how many kick ass things are goin on right now a few things have put me in a funky-bad mood...so thanks for turning my mood around guys. See ya tonight! | And thank you to Neatski and everyone else that came out last night. What a great in night! I hope everyone enjoyed my set, feel free to leave me feedback! I hope we can get somethin goin in tally. With the turnout last night, I really think its possible. |

| I was there with my roommate (clevername). I tried to get your attention and say I was a TA, but the booth was rather inaccessible. Regardless, I had a good time and it seemed like the bar was making a lot of money as well, so I wouldn't doubt if they'd book you again. Did you happen to play the afterparty at Bajas? |

Sorry you couldn't get in man. I feel ty. :( But yeah it was pretty inaccessable. Knock on the glass next time and shout: "TA!" or something I unno lol
But yeah I also played the after party at bajas from 2:10-3. Were you there?
and yeah the bar made a ing killing. I hope it turns into a weekly deal. That place usually never packs like last night. Feedback on the night at all? Positive and negative. I work with the people that made the event, so we are trying to figure everything out to make it even better next time. |

That's exactly what I did! My roommate asked you where Matt was, but we never found him. I didn't care about being in the booth, just wanted to say whats up. I thought the music went over really well and there were definitely people dancing for a while. Drinks were reasonably priced as well. I'd definitely show up again if this was a weekly thing. |

i'm sorry dude. I don't even remember :( There were like 50 people coming up to me that night and its something i'm not used to lol
promoters coming up to me saying: "we will be talking soon"? Like wtf? I unno. And I felt bad because there were people who said they were going to meet up with me and be like:
Person: HEY MARK WHATSUP!!
no idea who they were
or
Person: HEY MARK IT'S [cant hear name because its so loud] from [place]!
Me: Oh...hey! Whats up man! Im glad you came out!!!
eesh. I felt uncomfortable haha
but yeah man, i'm glad you had a good time. Props to the residents too! The girl in the begining of the night, Jen (aka seaphim) was killer. I love her funky style and her mixing was flawless! The other dj, dj neptune was pretty good too.
glad to hear you had a good time and i'll let ya know for sure when this happens again. |

It was a GREAT time last night, how insanely awesome to hear some real music in this town! Kudos to Headphonez, you'll have to keep us posted when bookings occur. The one thing about the Cool Grindz party that was kind of bothering me was.. well, the break dancers were really good and all, but I think they were really intimidating some of the people who otherwise would have been dancing if they hadn't been there. I sure as hell was intimidated, lol. It's friendlier when everyone's dancing, ya know?
I wish I could have made it to Baja's... my friends kinda started dying around 1:30, haha. How did that part go? I'm pissed if I missed Grasshopper...! |

True, some of the dancers were good, some not so much. And you didn't seem intimidated, you were dancin your ass off all night! thanks for that! I had a lot of fun and met a lot of promoters, so I really hope that something takes off for house music here. Bajas was fun, but since it was their first night doing after hours, the crowd wasn't massive. That was more of a tryout gig anyhow, and I met one of the residents who said I was sick and asked for some track names...
Had like 4+ bottles of goose in the vip, and a small group (15-20) people from bajas came out plus other people normally at the club.
I hope to somehow work my way into playing at solstice. That would be a HUGE opportunity to get some music out there ya know?

Eh if I could break dance like that I probably wouldnt be saying , haha... I'm definitely not saying they weren't good. But seriously, I just think more of the everyday people and newcomers would be more comfortable moving around if they didnt feel like it was a scene just for practiced dancers, you know?

Yeah understandable. I'm just happy I got some people to move! ...and to some new current dance music! Did I ever give you a copy of my demo? I don't think I did. damn. sorry. I'll upload it online sometime.
