I know someone who knows a promoter.... apparently he's either in charge of these things or knows about them.
BRING ON THE SCENE! I drove all the way to Atlanta to see James Holden last Thursday... worth every second of the 5 hours + 5 hours, but it would be pretty damn nice not to have to travel that far....

Didn't go to solistice because i heard the music was pure crap. All cliche songs that everyone knows. However, a little bird told me there is going to be a huge electronic event at bajas on April 13th. I'll be playing, and I'm pretty sure Punjabi will be too. It's going to be like solstice, except with actual electronic dance music:tongue2 |

I've met a few girls that are. Just gotta hang around Punjabi and I's parties more and you'll bump into a few. There is a DJ crew in tally called Venus Presents, a bunch of girls in their mid 20's who dj....I haven't heard much about them though, and some people I know say they aren't great. I can't judge though, i've never heard any of them spin. One of them will be playing at cool grindz march 30th, where I will be playing. That party is going to be BITCHIN. They are opening up the 2nd floor above cool grindz, which holds 400 people, and giving that floor to me the whole night. So, if you're a tally TA, you better be there! |

This event will pack! Opening up a 2nd floor that holds a good 400 people. This event is being promoted big time. It's going to be a damn good party. |

It *was* somewhat cheesy, and everyone was drunk and booty dancing, which really took away from the electronica experience.. I did hear about teh Baja's event as well, and I'm planning on going. |
