i hate to agree with igk, but the second shooting definitely falls upon the authorities inaction to react sensibly after a gunman killed a person on campus with no one in custody. If he escaped campus, how could he come back in? and if he was still on campus, how could he remain concealed with out police even scouring the area? |

very sad indeed. i always wonder wtf Id do if a kid came into my class with a gun. So far all I can think of is throw a book at him and rush him.
now im trying to find that thread a few months back where students at I think UCSD were complaining about campus security...hhmmmm |

| The police arrested several people while they were looking for him. Surprise! A big university like VA Tech is FULL of...ready for this? People omg!! |

yea thats the one, everyone hated campus police after that and said they were power hungry a-holes. Which is the crappy part about being a security officer, people hate you no matter what. |

they were interviewing one of the students in the building where the 2nd shooting took place. And she said the university didn't notify anyone what happen that morning and class was progress like normal. After they heard shooting they locked themselves in a teacher's office and went online, thats when they discovered about the shooting that happened 2hrs ago. Maybe if the college wasn't busy covering up and doing damage control 31 ppl wouldn't be dead. |

They're talking about in on the radio right now and they said that theres no solid evidence on anything about him but he was a young Asian man. They don't know if he shot himself or if the police shot him, either way thank god he's down.
( oh and in Toronto two banks were robbed within 15 minutes of each other by the same man :wtf: ) |

I think the authorities were called but either the school or the police decided to do a "quiet" investigation, when I think they should have initiated a lock down or an evacuation. |
