um yes...she was not very good, but we also dont really like any of the tracks she has worked on. most of them are rips of karen overton-you're loving arms, same sounds and everything.
but anyways, armin was not very impressive. we have all seen him more than enough times and he never let us all down til this event. there was no flow at all, and the tracklist was boring as hell. It didnt feel like Armin. Rank 1 was fun tho :) - Kyle
its time for these big name DJs to step up their game and play like they used to. Tiesto, Markus, PvD, and now Armin... none of them can move a crowd of true EDM listeners anymore. they've lost a great deal of creativity and more importantly, our respect. - Hasan
I think we would've been better off listening to Martin Roth spin with a pair of Gemini's. On a serious note, we have seen Armin on numerous occassions and he built his set beautifully everytime. However, seeing him this time was a major let down. His set was segmented into 4 different parts. First he opened up for about an hour; then Jennifer came out (dear lord why!); then he jumped back into his set (how you could do that after Jennifer R. don't know); then Rank 1 (which was a very nice treat); then back to the DECKS w/ Susana (who was also flat on a lot of notes, but she has a nice Live voice). Than back into his set. I don't think segmenting his set was a good idea. Everytime we saw Armin, his best sets built up after 2 hours or so and then kept dipping in and out of moods. When we saw him in Brooklyn, it didn't feel the same way, cause he chopped up his act so much! I hate to say it, but Armin let me down hard that night! - Brian |

i agree, only song that i really even enjoyed basically. it was a bit boring of a tracklist. but that's just me, i've never had a complaint about armin before. i just wasn't feeling it. |

i think the more i see pics of the guy from rank1
the more iam to belive that he was the one who did the stage dive at the end and no one caugh him
cause it was at the end when he was up there with armin and the girls bowing and clapping hands
iam not sayin its 100% but i think its a good chance lol

What a fun fun fun night!!! Armin was ok. Nothing can top last year @ Tabacco Warehouse. Rank 1 and the girls were awesome!!!
Highlights for me were AIRWAVE, Louder, and Anthem. LOVED IT!!!!
It was great to see all of you again. Kel and Wai you too are in awesome!!! I <3 you!!! Z.....I am still recovering....CRAZY Weekend!!!! Call you tonight. Now I am going back to sleep. Will post pics tommrrow. Later GAtors!! |
