i know, i remember you telling me that.....the thing is that i actually like louder and wouldn't change a thing. I just think this was a bad performance. Like it has been said before on this thread, her dancing was just laughable and she was way off on her singing. Hopefully this was just a bad performance.

I give her credit though, it takes some balls getting on a stage performing like that.

I guess I am a little late to voice my opinion about AVB.

Armin has charisma and talent. He usually mixes good sets that build the crowd and cause people to feel elated when they leave one of his events. Unfortunately, I did not feel this way from his show at McCarren Park. I wish that he only had one special guest. Three special guests forced Armin to jump around with his track selection. I am sure he tried the best that he could, because I highly doubt that Armin would intentionally make a set very choppy. Needless to say, the track selection was bad. The set did not build, as it should have. I barely danced because I felt no need to. I heard everyone of these tracks a million times over. The sound was too low. I could literally have full conversations with the people I came with without screaming. I think Brooklyn had a sound ordinance because Armin usually plays with everything he has. Damnit I know Armin can do better, I have seen him do much better than this back in 2003 when he was just starting. This show has left me depressed. I spent money to see one of my favorite DJs and all I was left with was a headache from Jennifer Rene's off key singing. The best thing about the night was Rank 1. I am sure most people would agree with me.
I totally agree. Everyone keeps raving about how great Jennifer Rene was. I thought her performance of Louder was horrendous.

personally i think she did better than i expected so i have to give her some props BUT those who didn't like her performance have a right to say so i wouldn't say they are haters...plus without being actually there is kinda hard to really judge how great/awful she was

what i meant is that like everything else in life everyone isn't going to agree and that the vibe of the show also comes into play when analyzing how good or bad she was. also, no offense but you have her in your sig so i assumed you would be biased toward her performance.

i would assume they are like you then, biased and unable to formulate an independent opinion.

The reviews in this thread are hilarious.

You can tell who the people are that went for the music, and you can tell who was there just to be seen.

If every review read
Armin sucks
no one can sing
the venue wasnt good enough
the beer was too warm
the the message board warriors would be happy, but complements should not be allowed on TA
(please refer back to last yrs review thread, which now eneryone talks about so highly, to see the numerous complaints from there)

very true Andrew!!!

EDIT.....
Armin in Rocks!
Susanna and Jennifer were awesome
the Venue was ok
the beer sucked!
You should always compliment peoples when they deserve it!
Now stop bitchin and if you didn't like it then oh well don't go next year! It's ok to have an oponion but, when you repeatly continue to be rude and obnoxious it's just childish.
