First of all, I wish it would have lasted longer. I came at 7 (a little bit late). Armin had the usual build up :) The surprise of the night were the girls. I thought that singing would be really chizzy and initially I was glad hat I missed part of Jennifer's singing. However, when she cane back with Lauder and when Susanna sang Shivers, I was like OMFG- IT WAS RIDICULES!

He dropped some huge anthems including Anthem ( Shout-out to Wai :tongue3 ). I dont know where to start... I remember going to bathroom, and I would hear some good song, and start running back to the stage and jumping with the crowd.

Nice to meet so many TAs. I am not sure if I will be able to associate the faces with the TA nicknames, so say hi (you will recognize on the pics).

I was really sad/pissed that it ended at 10 sharp (without the encore). Anyways, I will post all pics and vids asap.

Mike, where are all the pix we took together?

I missed the first hour but after looking at Gerard's sidekick I was relieved b/c I didn't miss any good tunes. Armin's set was ok. He didn't play anything mind blowing or new. His set at Pacha was def better regardless I still had an AWESOME time. Anyone see a bunch of ten year olds kids there? They were standing nearby I kept telling them to stay and in school and don't do drugs! :haha:

SHOCKER!

I only wish Armin was spinning today also. Would be so up for this again, esp with the sun out. Been listening to old ASOTs though. Rank 1 was pretty good too - nice to see a 'live' performance. I was hoping for them to go and drop 'The Awakening' though. That would have been sick. A few other commments now that it's the morning after: yes, the sound wasn't the greatest, I think they might have turned it down after 9 PM. The lasers also could have gone on much earlier.

I was considering going to Dekay, but about a half-hour after Armin, my legs were just too tired. Sorry to hear that his set didn't pan out so well. In hindsight, Dekay would have been a good opener for Armin, right?
The Riddle
I agree with most people's comments -- Armin took a little too long to get things going. Second half of the set was great though! And, what can I say, I do love me some pop-y goodness -- ending with Rapture just about made up for some of the sins of the first half of his set!

Not so sure about the venue. Nice and big so there was plenty of room to breathe. No lines for the restrooms. But the sound just wasn't that great. If you stood about half way between the stage and the back wall you could hear the sound bounce off the back which was not pleasant. And if you stood too close to the stage the sound was too muffled.

Way, way too many drunk people who were being completely unpleasant.

Nice to meet TAs I hadn't met before -- Wai, Kelly, Dan.

well...unlike you fortunate ones, I was stuck in my cube staring at "TPS" reports and listening to the faint hum of my computer screen, while you all were partying it up at Armin.

Mr Game+Watch
Had a pretty nice time at the show... but the usual complaints - Armin took way too long to build... which would've been absolutely fine, had the party lasted for about 6 hours instead of 4. I was expecting things to go on till about midnight or so, at about 9:30 I went to sit down because my legs were starting to hurt, then like 20 min later I hear everyone calling out for the encore. Both Susana and especially Jennifer Rene sounded absolutely fantastic live, though. And Rank 1 was a really nice touch, loved hearing Airwave on the keytar! Favorite songs of the nite were probably Formentera What and This World Is Watching Me.

Saw 2 dudes standing a little in front of me, with TA NYC shirts on, but I didn't say hi, one of them was wearing a hat with a pot leaf on it. Should've introduced myself but I'm a bit shy :P

Tobacco Warehouse was godly, last year! The energy just never stopped at that party.
