My Review , went with a bunch of friends and girls , it was Fun we danced all night but still Armin Didnt kill it for me the Tracklist was not no stomping out the floor tracklist he picked it up for the last 20 mins , it was a good set to maybe open the night with but if it was ending that 10 he should of Brought it for the last hour with some hard , it was great seeing him though , the place is awesome but the Sound DEFENTLY ENDS TO BE LOUDER ! lol MUCH LOUDER :D Over all it was a good night , I partyed , danced , and saw armin for the first time , ;)

Had a pretty nice time at the show... but the usual complaints - Armin took way too long to build... which would've been absolutely fine, had the party lasted for about 6 hours instead of 4. I was expecting things to go on till about midnight or so, at about 9:30 I went to sit down because my legs were starting to hurt, then like 20 min later I hear everyone calling out for the encore. Both Susana and especially Jennifer Rene sounded absolutely fantastic live, though. And Rank 1 was a really nice touch, loved hearing Airwave on the keytar! Favorite songs of the nite were probably Formentera What and This World Is Watching Me.

Saw 2 dudes standing a little in front of me, with TA NYC shirts on, but I didn't say hi, one of them was wearing a hat with a pot leaf on it. Should've introduced myself but I'm a bit shy :P

Tobacco Warehouse was godly, last year! The energy just never stopped at that party.

i had a red hat with NYTA TranceEnergy shirt
;)

i met so many people yesterday, its crazy. NYTA's are the best! i'm glad everyone had fun.

oh, and as much as i hate Brooklyn Brewery, after yesterday, they are OK. why? cause towards the end of the show they were just giving the beer away for free. LOL LOL LOL
:tongue2
AY STAR
the night was ehhhhh to me
armin started off pretty good but after his thing with rank1
i dunno there was nothing mind blowing about it
his last few asot shows have been fire but him live was just plain
the lights and video were dope the sound was ehhhh
it was crazy how by the end of the night i turned around and saw that the whole place was filled up
i never though it would happen
shout outs to all the nyta's who were in the crowd
and iam sorry if i did anything or said anything dumb i pre-gamed a lil too hard cause i did not wanna drink that beer but in the end i actually tryed one and it was not that bad
i dont see myself drinking it all night but it was ok
the live acts were great alot better then i hoped
susanna sounded the best live imo
the set was way too short i deff feel like i got ripped off lol
the space was good tho i just dont see armin there he belongs at tobacco warehouse
as kelly said the highlight of the night was at the end some schmuck decided to stage dive off the stage and no one caught him ha ha ha ha
wat a idiot
p.s the dekay party was dope he was laying down sick beats

Got there after 5 pm, had a lil pre game in the car. I was very surprised by the lack of line to the gate. Got it and was very impressed how spacious the entire place was. Like everybody else said, Armin was bulding up slow, but good. I really liked what he spun and the live singing was decent(better for the last song) by Rene. Susana has a nice, strong voice. Rank 1 was ing awesome. Things got moving when he started playing. Nice seeing all the TA's and i kept seeing more and more. Melly Mel walked right in front of me but i didnt realize who it was until she left.

The sound was, ugh, not loud enough in the begging. I noticed that they turned it up a notch towards the end. The bass was overcoming the sound. I wasn't really expecting a perfect sound for this place, so i wasnt disappointed or anything. I didnt bother eating, but i was hungry as hell when i left. The water at the wash station to the right was horrible. I washed my hands and they literally stunk like . I went to the middle one and it smelled better. Its like they were recycling the water from the porta potties. + on having a lot of porta potties and no lines to go piss.

Overall i had a very good time and i was happy to be there. Everything looked fantastic at night looking from where the bathrooms were. The lasers, the people, the light. ing great view. I wish i was allowed to bring my cam in. I must agree that brooklyn park was slightly better.

oh man i had a blast, got faced as usual... the girls sang so well, jennifer ripped it i think! i ing love shivers so seeing that live was awesome. rank 1, hell in yeah! i've seen them both together play live before, but still awesome as hell, airwave on the keys. heeeelllll yeah!! armin tore up, was a great time!

Ohh boooy...

The venue was nice cause there was a ton of room...easy for people to spread out and have their own space and such.

Armins set was boring as hell...there was no real progression of the set...it stayed in the same spot up until he dropped dubfire - roadkill(breakfast remix) that track is a powerhouse. It picked up a little after that but only for a few tracks then it was just like the same boring trance for a while. Don’t get me wrong…he played some solid stuff before he and rank 1 did their thing but the tracks seemed out of place in the set and like it was building to nowhere.

The sound quality didnt really help either, the way the speakers were positioned and the fact that it was not loud AT ALL. if you stood toward the center of the crowd you couldn’t hear jack ...usually im yelling at my friends in order to say hi or something but i was able to talk in an normal voice the entire night…if u moved to the back more the sound was actually clearer.

Rank 1 vs. Armin was cool though considering it was live PA, but I didn’t like that they played communication that early.

but anyways, armin has never let me down before, he always puts on a great show. Im just sorry to say that this year i was not very happy with the track selection. Too much older stuff from months ago with no real bang to it.

whatever...im upset...only getting more upset even writing this review…

he belongs at tobacco warehouse by himself, like last year. Also, stopping the set twice and having no real flow to the set kinda diminishes the feeling.

P.S. I gotta give it up for the locals last night at Rebel, i definitely enjoyed all of you. Zack and Keryn played some awesome stuff and the Frequency guys were playin some fun stuff too. You guys kept the night fun and entertaining, dekay was boring me for a little while tho he did play some cool stuff here and there before i left.

The summer ale was fine. I had no problems with it.
