I had a blast. I thought the music was pretty average. Good seeing Daph and her cousin. I also ran into an old ta from my Vinyl days (addictedtobass aka gary) Good looken out man! Had a great time partying with you at Armin n Deekay.

Zach n' Keryn were Steller. Something about that booth with those red and white lights when zach was up there brought back some twilo magic. I really enjoyed both of your sets.

BALTIMORECLUB
I ventured up to the 3rd level of rebel and walked into another world. The sounds that were penetrating my ear lobes were of nothing I had ever heard in a club before. Blacks Whites Asians all getting down to the same beats it was great. I felt as if I was in Paradise Garage. So I asked this kid (who was rocken a cool trippy retro look) what this music is called. He tells me it evolved from house, old school big beat rap (Run Dmc dubbed without the vocals)(beastie boys style big beat stuff) DnB, and Acid house. Dl some stuff from the early 90's then add tight synth, some thick bass and you have Baltimore Club. It going to change everything.
trust me |
LOL...Scottie B was @ Studio B with Booka Shade earlier this spring. The whole Baltimore Club thing has been going on for awhile now, though it's not always my thing. Switch has been creating lots of tracks to highlight the genre, but nothing drives it home more than 2LiveCrew tracks. |

By the way, not an impressive crowd @ Rebel coming from Armin. We didn't hit up Armin, but Matthew left early due to the lack of attendance and Zack had to finish up.
It definitely didn't help that Hai Lee was on in the other room and everyone bolted. Not that I'm complaining that he's getting attention, but it blows that a DJ that everyone seems to appreciate got hung out to dry tonight and that's not good for booking future gigs... |

| so/so night. wasnt it suppose to start at 4;30? weak track selection. and the sound ws bad. everytime it got loud it would distort. just go back to TW like last year. so much better in everyway. it is nice to sincere smiles on a djs face. he still luvs what he does, fav track, shivers, great job on that one. a 5 for the night. sorry to hear about dekay at rebel. luv his stuff. :) |

Truthfully, Dekay bored the crap out of me. He started to build up nicely, but then never got anywhere.
Hai Lee most definitely banged it out proper. |
