I didn't go, but man that video was so ing painful to watch. My guess is that Jennifer Rene didn't properly warm up her vocal chords before the show plus was a nervous wreck. She also tried to dance to pump up the crowd but it just made her look like a total bimbo on the stage.
edit: i just watched a few of her live performances via youtube. she sounded better, but she still looks like a complete bimbo dancing on stage |

Damn y'all are really harsh! Constructive critisism is much better than insults...she does read these boards.

i actually thought jennifer rene sounded fine. i thought her dancing was cute, and most people at the event seemed to get into it. i thought she had a good presence on stage. other than her, and of course rank1, i didn't get into the event at all. the first time i've been left feeling empty after an armin event. usually he makes me beg for more at the end of the night. at the end of this night, i was glad to leave.
overall, if you didn't go, don't feel bad about it. i took the trip up to brooklyn from philly with high hopes, as i usually do when he's at a club in manhattan, but i don't know. it didn't hit any spot with me. nothing will ever top tobacco warehouse, even though some slamming tunes came out this past year. the event fell FAR short of expectations. |

jennifer was an absolute sweetheart. loved her performances, brought the crowd to life each time she came on. i hope armin lets her tag along more often! :D
i also asked her if any of her tracks she collaborated on with armin were on the way. she said, "soon!". :eyes: i can't wait to hear those. |

but armin was originally supposed to be here on july 6th and 7th
it was on the ultra records website
but did not say the location just said nyc
who knows what happened
