You claim that you can tell if someone likes music just because they want to be "cool" from their actions/posts/demeanor. It's not my job to look for evidence and corresponding concrete examples which support this claim, it's yours.
In other words, you can't tell me to "do my own homework" when it's your "homework" and your "presentation" that's being debated. |
See, but if you actually read the thread you'd see I never actually said that at all - I actually said there was no way I could know that. So it really is actually your job to try and understand what you read before making comments that are entirely irrelevant to the conversation at hand.
Nice work on the reading and comprehending though, really - bang up job. |

dubstep is made for geeks who are too afraid to dance. they sit around the dancefloor nodding their heads and pretending to be clubbers. the fad wont last long. |

how about you prove/disprove your theory by going down london on a friday night and going to a night with it on. Please don't be afraid to tell them to their faces too, we'll read about your demise on saturdays evening standard. |

| And to think, this all started with a few people just wanting to know a little something about the genre in general... ;) |

going to a dubstep night will only disgruntle me further than i already am. the theory goes for drum and bass too. id bet money that a higher percentage of trance/techno/house clubbers dance and have proper fun in clubs they visit than those who visit drum n bass/dubstep/garage nights. in my experience there are always more people with a chip on their shoulder at drum and bass/dubstep nights. they try too hard to look and act alternative and another thing, they dont wash properly - infact, i know 90% of d+b/dubstep nights i have been to have been half full of stinkers. the dubstep clubbing majority is primarily made from two types: sleepy stoners with dreads make up half, angry 19yr olds make up the rest.
