the weather inside the KH was horrible. i should've brought a raincoat cuz it was raining like a bitch. i've never experienced it that bad. but anyway...
got to through the normal ticket line quite quick, only 20 min or so. the coat check seemed to be longer. had a good time to warm up with MO who dropped some nice tunes before PVD's set. it was wierd not seeing any TA's in the usual spots. finally i saw tordan and cono_sur who i haven't seen a while. it was great chatting with you guys.
PVD had some great energy when he came on. good energy, good tracks, great transitions. then the half way point hit and it started to turn south. he started to mix in randy katana - in silence but never finished the track :whip: . then he mixed another track in and never finished it. the track after that was his and of course he played that the full length. then he started to try and play live with his keyboard to for an angel and screwed up a bit. anyway, i'm a bit pissed off about the 2nd half of the set.
this was my 2nd time seeing PVD and it will probably be my last. the same thing happened last time where he started off amazing and couldn't finish on the same level.
eddie however had a much better set. lots more energy and great transitions. he played a totally different set from what i remember him playing last time at the guv, while keeping his trademark scratching and unique mixing.
the original set times sucked, but i'm glad that they went over a bit because a 2 hour set from each was just ridiculous.
as always, great to see the TA's that i ran into.

I agree...I was thoroughly disgusted by this (and happy I wasn't wearing white)
Anyways, overall it was another successful Freedom for me....got a chance to roam around and experience the vibe of every room. Gallery really got me going, and, had a great time meeting new people in main room during Bad Boy Bill.
Ended off the night with Morillo, which revived memories of seeing him in ibiza, and, left me feeling quite nostalgic....
