So I think Jenny deleted her Photobucket, because I just tried to find a random pic of her to ch0p onto a Reindeer body and completely failed.
And all her pics in the DEMF thread are deleted. :( |
I hope Radagast got to it and nekkid pics are coming :D |

Clovey, you have some seriously weird fantasies. |
It's called imagination, and it runs wild. |

Pretty much. It's the same thing over and over and over again with his posts. Wake me up when he actually has a substantial argument.

The sooner you figure that out, well, I dunno if it'll make much difference for you. |
Nah, he's too thick to realize that. |

Exactly.
The reason I can't articulate my posts better is because it's impossible to explain to someone who has lived in America their whole life the way they are different to the rest of the world - it's something you have to experience from the outside; you can't be told.
How would you explain to a Japanese person that their sense of humour is strange in comparison to the rest of the world?
How do you tell a British person they're overly formal, an Irish person that their accent is funny, a Spanishman that they're too flamboyant, or an Australian that we're overly casual?
When you've grown up your entire life with a certain standard for what constitutes arrogance, humour, accent, looks, social standards or any other racial or geographically influenced difference, how can you possibly understand why others think your standards are wrong if that's all you've ever known?
I will bow out of this thread now, because I realise I'm unable to explain the way I feel accurately enough to make any sense, but know this Americans:
I'm not "stereotyping". All of you, as a nation, have standards and values that are, on the whole, found lacking by the citizens of other countries around the world. I'm not talking about morals or ethics here obviously, but the points I mentioned above, like sensitivity, subtlety, humility, humour, grace, manners and many others. |

Nah, I'm talking about events within the USA. i.e someone gets a good exam score and chants "USA!". argument I know, but it's the simplest and most precise I can think of at the moment.
Here's some interesting reading by an American author on this subject:, again, just the tip of the iceberg. |
nevermind...was going to make a point, but you made it for me. you know what you know as youve seen on tv...nuff said. USA!
since somebody did it somewhere, it must be universal| |

Please, all they have to do is open their mouths and the gig is up. ;) |
so you'd think.
But its amazing that people just can't pick accents in English.
When I was in Europe I was confused for - American, English (most common), New Zealander, a fee had no idea at all, only rarely did someone pick Australian first.
In America itself I was confused for English and New Zealander, one time I was too tired to care so i continued on that i was from New Zealand, didn't change my accent at all just talked normally and wasn't picked up on. |
