Yes I was there to hear Mike Nichol complain that they were . I must agree that the mixing was not great! Mike's reaction was GOLD .. |

when was this? when they last played in Melb?
they seemed good to me but admittedly you and Mike would have a better ear for such things :) |

The way way Mike thinks about mixing isn't the same as how we do mang. I was a noob back then so I just listened to what he was saying. It wasn't that they were out but more that they were missing the best spot for the drop and losing the energy. After a while I could see what he meant. |

It doesn't really matter what you call it; most good jocks start to do it instinctively anyway. :)
I remember the first time I ever mixed a "double drop" by accident and thinking "that was awesome, I wonder if you can conciously do that for every mix". |
