I would just like to thank all of these IDIOTS that have decided on your own, intelligent will it's ok to protest when/where you're not supposed to in China....a country you KNOW isn't going to allow this yet you try anyways.
Because of these idiots I can't get home to my own bed because the government has decided to become insanely strict on screening Westerners and granting them visas.
If they don't like China and don't want to follow the rules...DON'T COME. They're going to jail them no matter who they are if they break the rules!
Go join PETA you'll have a better chance at unfurling banners in stupid places. |

IMAGINE if Michael Phelps gets caught for doping? That would be really really crazy in the media. "The best Olympian ever cheating?" All those medals he won were because of performance enhancers? He would probably be one of the most hated athletes ever :D

lol seeing as he has to do a doping test EVERY day (and volunteers to do so!), I am thinking he is the cleanest mofo out there. |

I've been trying to get a visa since July and keep getting refused. Normally I have no problems what so ever so my dads company's immigration lawyers had to get involved and still cannot help me.
Basically because of all of these Westerners that go to China and stage protests they're being VERY choosy of who they let in during the Olympics. Even if there are pictures of me in newspapers waving a Chinese flag during a torch passing ceremony somewhere they still see me as a potential threat.
These protesters are ruining it for the rest of the tourists there and people who want to visit China in the future. You can't just change a government like that overnight!
People have a right to fight for their beliefs and this whole Free Tibet thing isn't something I disagree with but do it in a country that allows you to! You're only going to get yourself jailed and deported.
Don't we get ticked off when foreigners come to our country and break the laws? Their laws are different but it's still THEIR LAWS.

he's also double jointed in the shoulders and ankles....which I am sure has to be helpful in swimming.
He will definately be around in 2012 and will probably still dominate then....I think its safe to say he is the worlds greatest olympian. |
