I went to China in February and it was $130 for a one year, multi-entry visa for an American passport (American passports are 50 dollars more than any others). Express services (2-3 mailing days) $35 and rush services (same day mailing service) are $50.

It's still the same prices....now they just require more proofs from your job, school and wherever you are going to stay. For example, when I went last summer I was never required to show a proof of kinship to my parents living there and an invitation from my parents but now I need a birth certificate signed by my father and proof they live there. I'm luckily able enough to have my grandmother apply on my behalf in ottawa and sent her $400 to cover any extra expenses she needed because God knows what fees the Chinese might pull out of their ass this week.

It's on again tonight (6pm EST I believe on CBC), but i'm 99% sure that you'll be able to view on Demand on their website, or one of Rogers VOD channels like Channel 100...

That's what they had for the winter olympics in 2006. Most of the events could be viewed whenever you wanted to on Demand.

wow, I got goosebumps when China came out for the parade... sick.

Nevermind, I see they're still going or were an hour ago? hahah NBC isn't even airing them right now, they're pretending the Ceremonies start tonight at 6PM EST. It was the regular NBC morning show this morning while the ceremonies were on.

hahahah
