I highly doubt I could date a girl who absolutely dispised dance music, but at the same time she wouldn't have to be a fanatic about it either.

I disagree. Seems to me in NA culture, dates are more or less split 50/50 for paying, if not the guy pays one time, the girl pays other.
certainly when I invite someone out, I will pay for everything because the person is out on my invitation, but I don't feel obligated to pay for everything all the time

you were well raised yohan. Love is not give give give, it is give and take.

What about guys. Guys get jealous quite often. Don't tell me that random boys have never hit on you girls lol.

Not all boys would be able to handle that in a calmly matter.

Depends on the maturity of your relationship I guess.

I dont understand why a guy should get jealous if a guy hits on his girlfriend. UNLESS she flirts back.

a. not true! sorry :)

lol what does it have to do with how much I make? I moved downtown so I can afford cabbing :) I guess you both live in Sauga? that's a dif story

not sure what you mean here?

once again - not true, but whatever rocks your boat!

well THAT is just a load of useless drama, IMO!

Well we just disagree on the money thing.

I've always grown up with the notion of paying for most things. I make decent amount of money and have the ability to afford to pay for most things. It's just different customs and upbringing.

I drive everywhere so its not bad, but I am moving downtown soon! When my condo is built. I'm going to be like a 10 minute from everywhere. That's going to cause some issues.

I don't have a clue what my second point is. I forget haha.

A lot of Girls are DRAMA. You guys might not be, but don't tell me you don't know a lot of girls who are. Girls like to create drama in their head. Don't tell me why, they just do.

All i'm trying to say is that I can see the benefits of not having your significant not have the same interests in music.

while certainly a very gentlemanly thing to do, when everything is on an even keel you will find that relationships tend to be easier. :)

do I get a pat on the head and a candy for being a good boy now? :p

my parents had nothing to do with this part. actually, they taught me very little about dating stuff, but did teach me a lot about hospitality (though that's more of a korean thing)

heh. I'd feel mildly complimented that dudes find my gf hot enough to hit on her :p

if you can't trust, then you shouldn't be in a relationship. call me a sucker or not, but in a relationship, the girl has my trust until she has proven otherwise (and I'd break up with her once I can no longer trust her)

i like trance & house... soo to all you ladies out there: feel free to pm me !! ahhahahahhaha

I think i might stay single forever!!;)

oddly enough in Korea women pay for nothing. They are also immature like 15 year olds in their 30's. Different cultural values completely, i would say very similar to the 1950's in north America. The society is based heavily on perception of wealth in males.

lol my boyfriend and I hate each others music
