I will however, admit to a somewhat irrational double standard - I'd expect them to put up with me playing my music in my house/car/apt (within reason - as I know some stuff I like simply isn't palatable to most people), but will have little tolerance for listening to their stuff if it falls into the "Genres of which I cant stand"
:P
However, there is loads of music that I might not like - I don't necessarily dislike/hate - punk, alternative, blues, some other genres of EDM that fall outside of my "favorites".
But, there are a few genres/artists which I really cant stand and really aggravate me when I listen to them - and beyond "I just dont like it", but /really/ really really bother me and make me stressed out/anxious if I'm subjected to it for too long. |
