The reality is in life you are never "trapped" into something unless you somehow want to be or are guilty of making weak minded decisions(and this applies pretty much across the board not only with cheating.).
'Life is short' gets thrown around a lot, but it really isn't. Be a and you will end up just as alone as if you had stuck around in a loveless marriage for kids , because that does not work anymore.
