Well that was 100% Tentation's fault, Vanguard made sure they weren't going to be shut down, even though the cops were there making sure. |

I don't go to vanguard anymore because they pull this overselling+overpricing all the time. It's ridiculous.
I hope more people will stop going so that it makes an impact, but I doubt its going to happen... |

You know what I do agree. Last night was absolute madness at that place. The only reason I like going there is because of the Funktion One sound system and I get hooked up pretty good from one of the bartenders.
I'm going to give them another chance in a couple weeks for Blank & Jones and Cosmic Gate. Hopefully it's not as crazy. |

But this is what makes me laugh. You can't control how many people show up to an event. They try to control the capacity as well as they can. But nights like that what can you do? They keep the numbers low enough to keep the fire marshall from shutting it down, but let as many people in as possible to satisfy as many people as they can. You can't complain when it's too crowded nights like that. It could be worse, you could be one of the ones who didn't get in at all. Don't hear them complaining about it being too crowded inside. Or, they could just book less popular djs to ensure that it never gets too crowded. Don't blame the venue or the promoters. Blame the djs for having so much pull. Vanguard does a pretty good job. If you want to see the big names, you just have to know what to expect. Big names bring kaos. |
