Fine how about no tank tops or wife beaters?? Will that get Drew's seal of approval??

How about if you want a dress code, go to a ty stuck up Hollywood club playing top 40 or hip hop?

This is a concert, it's a place to see a musician you want to see. Not a place to be seen, it's a place to have fun.

Miami and NY clubs that are EDM have dress codes... And their crowds are wayyyyyyy more attractive!!

san diego and sf do the same.

i dont think tommy is hating on the size of the crowd so much as
if there is going to be a crowd and you have a choice as to who's smashed next to you on each end between the following choices

A) two smelly dudes wearing tank tops who constantly raise their arms in the air and you are exposed to armpit funk

B) two naughty hotties with tight bodies who like to party

we would take choice B

i personally prefer a more upscale crowd....having said that there are many people on this board that would hate a dress code at a club and all that implies....

i do think no wife beaters, etc. is a good idea. i suspect some of the people like that at Vanguard probably took off their shirts as it was pretty hot in there due to all the people.

if you said no t-shirts that would exclude like 50% of the people that were that last Sat nite.

and how you present yourself seems to have a lot to do with it. i've gone into Mansion and Tao with 'nice' t-shirts only to hear of guys with polo shirts not getting in. the doorguys make judgement calls on how you look and use dress code as an excuse to not let you in.

and lets me honest the vast majority of people going to see Guetta are not the wife-beater type lol.

Exactly what I was trying to say, I dont think I said anything bad and I think 85 percent agree with us but I MUST add I saw Guetta in Vegas and SD and the crowd and vibe was much much better in LA its real bad.

In LA they just want $$$$ they don't care about anything else I have a theory on why.. In Vegas and Miami they serve alcohol all night as to LA till 2. They figure the amount of people they reject wont bother them because they will sell a lot more alcohol because they are open longer with no restrictions. I have never ever seen a club anywhere on the globe be as stuffy and disgusting inside as I have seen at Vanguard.
