True, they are not terrorist scarves. They're just called that out of slang. It's what most people call them. It's hard to get all of society to change a slang term.

True, Keffiyehs in general are not; but the specific Keffiyehs that are being trend-whored right now are actually the ones worn by Hamas and Fatah, so they kind of are terrorist scarves. |
