i LOVE men in skinny jeans. mmmmmmm. ok, let's rephrase, not painted on super tight ones that look like denim leggings, but something more along the lines of a slim, straight leg like this:

same for myself. i HATE boot cut. barf barf barf. love the straight leg!

things i hate:
- uggs
- sweats worn outside of the gym
- those knit cardigan type tops that are all drapey and hang down in the front in these long points.

terrible photo, but you get the idea.
- anything with a bubble hem
- super pointy stilettos

^ omg yes, those sweater things - wtf are they?! they have no buttons no nothing, you can't wear them under a shorter jacket.. I can only imagine wearing as an extra layer at work if the a/c is too strong.. otherwise the dumbest sweater idea ever!

If I'm going to be at school for 10 hours a day, I'm going to dress as comfy as I possibly can. If that involves sweats and hoodies why do you care? Are my clothes bothering your studying? Exactly.

sweetie, you don't go to school to be comfortable, you go to school to learn.. besides, there are enough clothes brands around to compromise with comfort AND style without looking like a bum :)

Your argument is flawed considerably.
But that's OK.

I'm also not there to please my fellow students. I can be comfy and still learn. I have no idea why my brand or what brand of clothes I'm wearing has anything to do with my learning ability. If I pay my grands like everyone else I think I can wear what I want.

who's talking brands?:conf: by "Uggs" I don't mean the brand "Uggs" but just the boots themselves. Brands are so irrelevant!

You said brands. As in there are brands of clothes designed for comfort where I don't have to look like a bum. I never looked like a bum but I dressed for comfort how I saw fit. I just don't understand what the need to look like a CEO of my own company at school. Sweats and a t shirt never hurt anyone or their education.

No they didn't. But neither would me wearing an undershirt with track pants with a grease stain on them.

There are just certain things that are not appropriate to wear in certain settings. You can wear what you want, but I think people who wear stuff like that on a regular basis are sloppy and don't care about their appearance.

I think Maddox can shed some light on this subject

i tried on uggs and they weren't comfortable at all. they were too tight around the calf and they kind of get too hot but water leaks through. not a useful boot in canada at all. i think their original purpose is a great one tho. having them on the beach to quickly warm up your feet from surfing all day without burning them on the hot sand. that's a great use.

:stongue: wtf do you seriously think that was the original concept for ugg boots :haha:
