i am italian, but generally not proud of it. (i mean this about north american italians, the real italians are some of the best people around as long as you are not il nero :p)
south korean sports are funny.
the baseball is actually good, i used to go to games only because 2cdn dollars would buy me 1 litre of beer and it was cheaper than the bars.
Korean basketball was hilarious. They are allowed 1 foreign player per team, and it is usually a 6 foot 7 african american guy who scores at least 80% of the points. The koreans have trouble hitting lay ups i could play in this league.:p
Park Chu Young is the biggest star by far, the guy gets a haircut and it is front page news.
Every one of them knows tae kwon do because of the mandatory military service, but i can tell you that tae kwon do sucks, they fight like girls. A korean in thailand last 2 minutes:p |

it is what it is....chelsea had a chance...a good chance, i could write a 40 page essay on the refereeing of that game, but as I am slowly going through the stages (denial, acceptance etc etc lol) I will have to say...respect to Barca they are the world's best team right now, and Iniesta's goal was magic. It would of been spectacular if Drogba finished on that beautiful pull back he did to get 1 on 1 with Valdez, but the toe denied us a CL final. So be it...
JohnnyJohn's post a couple of pages ago was well said...and El Freak those short clips are hillarious, I'm putting that picture of Ballack chasing the ref as my desktop at work! haha!
I think we can all agree on one thing, that semi brought a lot of excitement and attention, and a fair share of controversy.
I'm not going to stir the pot anymore, I wish Barca the best in the finals!! They deserve the silverware! |

| Hahahaha love the "well we hate the other team more then this one" support. Ill wear a bullet vest under a 14th century armor and 2nd world war helmet when ill go italy hahaha,till Frederica Ridolfi doesnt have no problem with that :toothless, nah ill get shot before or get slapped to death by most women ill hit on (saying this on stories i heard hahaha). |

yea, although chelsea played better than barca in that match, given how barca has played this season theres no question theyre the more capable team
and if they are on during the final, they will be able to take out manu in style

With Carles Puyol back in the lineup, not sure about henry and Marquez is gone, but his presence should help overall the team big time, last game they played as mentionned i think on this board with "outplaced" players, not playing in their respective positions. He's going to bring back some stability,but still, the flaw with most aggressive and powerful attack teams is the counter attacks, and with Cristiano Ronaldo's capacities along with Rooney and Carrick's midfield play, the mistakes could be costly for barcelona.
Chelsea was more reknown to be an effective counter attack team, Man.U proved it could do so as well with the 3rd goal which was perfectly played soccer.
All i can say is: Lionel Messi, if that guy has in mind "today ill score goals", hard to stop him. Cristiano is capable of the same thing, but i dont know, Messi's reactions when at full speed, i've seen rarely players with such skills, Ibrahimovic is the most similar active player. |
