Barca yesssssss. It was to be honest not the the most entertaining game though. Barca i find played a bit with fire in the 2nd half when they played a bit further back, gave up a few good chances that only god knows that could have gone in at any other day. But seriously i must agree with all that was said on Manchester: no update in tactics, not starting Tevez nor Nani even Berbetov who to me would have been a proper starter.

I didnt do a in depth analysis of both teams tactics and to be honest i rarely do hehe, the 1st goal was a good goal by Eto'o, burned the defender, probably Van Der Saar would like to have that one back,it was a point blank strike true not easy to stop at all,but for a sec i thought he had it well blocked till i saw it bounce in the back of the net. The 2nd goal was a complete defensive meltdown and absolute beauty and showcase of Messi's futbol sense. The way he inclined his body and just put his head in a precise position for that header opposite way, have to love physics.

From what i saw of the rest of the game (only saw the 2nd half, the 1st goal probably did demoralize Man utd.), Barcelona played with more poise then against chelsea who was probably more energetic and effective on defense then man. u, Barca from what i saw had used a bit less of the wings which im glad they did, against chelsea it was going nowhere even with Dani Alves ,used more like previously said the diamond giving quick sharp 1-2 passes, to me its the trademark of barca, those piercing quick small passes near the 25 meter box that make the defenders ask "what the happened?". Cant deny Puyol's impact on this one, he was a big piece of it. Man Utd wise, they had a few good chances, but i didnt see any real construction in their play, no sense of following a set up plan, it seemed mostly passing play making the players move and expecting to find a gaping hole at sometime or waiting for a monumental mistake.

hehehe...A Big Disappointment actually a very big one not only because we lost the final but because we lacked the confidence and the team spirit we always had. I felt during the came that it was New Castle or maybe Hull United playing not Manchester. As everyone said we started really well but the first goal which came from the first chance killed the team.

I've seen worse loses for Manchester this season for ex: against Liverpool 1-4 but we still played a good game but conceived 4 goals on 4 set plays. During this game, we barely caused any trouble to Valdez. Barcelona players after the first goal kept the ball well and their passing was incredible.

It is really disappointing because we were too close to be the first team to win the CPL two years in a row but anyhow we have a very young team and for sure we will back.

The only good thing about this game was the Messi v.s Ronaldo thing. Ronaldo should STFU and keep his feet on the ground, everyone knows now who is simply the best.

We Will be back :)

a day of mixed emotions for chelsea. won the biggest and oldest association competition today but at the same time, waving goodbyes to one of the greatest football managers worldwide. only with chelsea 100 some odd days but managed to turn the team around to becoming the strongest unit they've ever been since mourinho left. till next year lads! the treble is ours! chelsea till the grave!

Forlan sealed the LA Liga golden boot over the weekend....beating out the likes of Messi/Eto'o/Villa (henry doesnt deserve to be included)...

My fave part of the CL final was Ronnie throwing a temper tantrum...CLASSIC!!!!!! go get that goiter removed out of your throat in the off season you muppet!!

Ancelotti is officially Chelsea's new coach. EPL is getting more and more interesting. I think soon all the English teams will be coached by Italians. Every one wants a Capello coaching their team now ;)

I dont think thats why Ancelotti is their new coach....I think they didn't really have any other options

really?

I think the main reason is that Roman wants to win CL really bad, Ancelotti is the best man (even Real wanted him)...in terms of CL hes better than Mourinho, the man won it twice, and as a player

Whether u like it or not, Italian coaches are the best in Europe if not the world. They have the biggest success in the Champions League. I rarely remember one of the 4 big Italians teams being coached by a non-Italian, well u will say Inter, everyone knows that they just wanna be different, the most hated team in the country.

Ancelotti will need time, and if Chelsea gives him the time I am sure he will achieve something.

Germany is one of the best countries, they are very very selective of who enters the country (to live)

Dying to go there and Spain
