As barca's president stated: "we were lucky, but it was justice" I think those words summed up both legs. Yes, last night Chelsea did play a little better, and the ref did make some bad calls, but if you recall at the Camp Nou there was a clear penalty for barca and ballack should have clearly had another yellow card (thus making him miss this game). Abidal should have not received a straight red, which would have changed everything in the game, like pique’s hand ball. The tactic of playing with 7 defenders in the first leg came to bite them in the ass this game, plain and simple. “Chelsea are not a third-tier side, visiting a Premier League ground in an FA Cup day out. They are a team of multi-million euro footballers and international captains”. They didn’t play or like the star team that they claim to be, throughout the whole tournment. They should have attacked barca a little more during the 1st leg, and hope for 1 away goal (away goals have always and will be the most important thing in CL play) I don’t want to hate on Chelsea, esp as my friends are Chelsea supporters but they scrapped through too many games, they are clearly not a top 2 side of Europe… imo it would have been very unjustice if they would have went through, with a very lucky (but very nice) goal from essien…when a side like barca cruised through their competition throughout the year

Never understood why sooo many people were saying "ohhh watch out for the gunners, they are crazy….” People don’t understand how CL is very different from league play, and Arsenal found that out. They are a very good side, but not CL good. Again, another team who scrapped their way through. Finished second in their group, won on PKs vs roma (who should have won in the reg 90 min), and beating the weakest side in the quarters, Villarreal. Simply, it was class & experience vs children…man u showed why they were the defending champions. 3rd goal by man u was amazing, the set up and goal by ronaldo (where are all those people that said ronaldo chokes in big games?) Man U didn’t even have to try and swept aside Arsenal…Wegner wants to build his teams simply on youth and no experience, well he’ll have to wait a while for his next trophy
The two best sides in Europe are in the finals….lets hope for a good game!
