italy has as much chance as england this time around. I want to be wrong, but i won't be.

Its true that Spain is the force to reckon with this time around. Germany is always good to mention, but not sure if Frings will be back for this one, that would be a big missing piece, i compare his play a bit to Edgar Davids, when you dare take the ball away from these guys, they'll hunt you down the stadium, great strength, tough to push off their run/the ball (sadly we now know Davids probably was on steroids), i hope he'll (Frings) be there for them,but even so, i dont see Germany going past the elimination rounds and get into the deep stages, but im saying this without knowing the official roster, but someone needs to feed Podolski.
Yeah teams from Africa will probably see one team go into the deep stages, again cant say which one, Cameroon always is a strong team.
Yeah sad for the Czechs, we'll see them back in a few thats for sure.

I'm hoping it's Argentina's year, they've had so many great squads over the years but always choke....but as you guys say, Spain is definitely a force to be reckoned with!
I definitely know England won't be anywhere around in the final stages. I went to watch the England - Ukraine qualifier with my Ukey soccer club...England was less than impressive. Of course when Sheva scored that equaliser we all went bisirk! Too bad they got the 2nd goal to beat us 2-1. Anyways, they should be putting away teams like Ukraine 2-0 or 3-0. Capello shmapello, I don't think any coach can help their lack of talent. They got a couple of decent players, but I think it's one of their weakest squads in some time...Plus they can't find a steady keeper, and that's a big deal IMO.
And on the topic of songs...this is one of my fave's..this is when we beat pool from that own goal by Riise I think..last year?

I heard today that the French Super Cup or Trophy of Champions or whatever they call it, is going to be played in Montreal this summer. I can't confirm this rumour, maybe someone here can? It's the winner of the league and the winner of the French Cup...or if the same team won both they play the 2nd place team? Something like that...
I'd definitely like to see Lyon play....Juninho and Benzema! Maybe their final game at OL....
