I literally am 10 metres from the protest, it is directly outside my window... I could probably throw something at them and hit them....and i would love to at this point... my dog is going ape and i have to be up @ 5am.

yes, i think that the Tamils are deluded if they think that canada will help them in their cause. they have a known association to terrorist activity and the people of toronto will not be sympathetic to their cause after this.
i work right at college and university, i had to go into work several times over the weekend to check on my experiments and i missed time points and got a parking ticket because i couldn't get to my parking spot. i hate this. these people are not winning any favors with me. i am concerned about going into work this week.
the worst part about it is that i heard that they are using a shield of young 14-16 year old girls to surround the adults so that police would not want to hurt the children. that is lame. |

Wow we had no idea this was going on till until a few hours ago.
We were in a convenience store in montreal and this came on the news.
We couldnt believe it... the store owner, mikey and i were just stunned.
The worst thing I heard from the news coverage was "the toronto mayor has asked them to move elsewhere".... Really that makes toronto seem ridiculous... really some force needs to occur. Aren't these young girls breaking some laws as well? just arrest the young ones and then force out the adults.
And they are being retarded... i bet 70% of toronto citizens have no idea what they are protesting (i dont)... if they want some sort of impact they should use their energy to educate people.
this is so brutal

they want to make people and the government aware on what is happening there(no one really gave a before), i think if this was happening in any other country in the world where we are from many of us woulod protest too, maybe not on the highway though
