Tamils shut down Gardiner! (pg. 36)

There is people shoulder to shoulder on College filling it from University as far as the eye can see going east. Past Yonge. My estimate is 20 000 thousand. College is completely blocked.

The entire lawn of Queen's Park was filled and at about 5:20 they started moving down the street, down College going east. There was 400 people crossing the road every 5 minutes filling up Queen's Park. IF you thought the amount of people on the GArdiner was big, you should see the amount on College right now.

my office is right at Bay/College.

I walked out to grab a coffee about 15 min. ago, right before they came down the street from Queen's Park. There were about 50 cops within sight of the intersection, preparing.

Then the crowd came though. I swear there seems to be 10,000+ people(?) It's been a constant stream of protesters for 15 minutes and they tail end just finished going by.

regardless of one's thoughts on the issues...it's remarkably well organized and impressive how the community has mobilized. seems to be relatively drama-free today. I support more of this type of protest than occupying the Gardiner for 12 hours, but this is still pretty crazy.

They are now not on College and have all moved down Yonge (my best guess)

Looking off my balcony (Yonge and College) I can see them heading southbound on Yonge. Damn. I can't believe how many people there are!

I tried taking a photo from my floor of Queen's Park, but my building has all these little dots on windows that makes it really hard to take photos.

This was earlier, just imagine that all of Queen's Park filled with that many people so close together.

There were some people on that pedestrian bridge over the DVP at rush hour with a banner that read the same thing. Maybe 50-100 people
