Et tu, Zid?
Hint, start looking inward, and you'll see that you're exhibiting myriad shades of the exact same behaviour you're pointing out in others.
We all do it, but your seeming lack of awareness of your own habit is pretty sad.

Bi-polar disorder is especially awful combined with schizophrenia, formal thought disorder, or even just schizotype mental illnesses.
Not knowing whether the things you see, hear, or feel are actually happening just adds to the frustration of bi-polar disorder. I've spent the beginning of this year apologizing to close friends, colleagues, and especially to my roommate for previous violent episodes, and abberant behavior.
Surprisingly, what's helped the most has been long acting ADHD meds my psychiatrist prescribed me a couple month's ago, which gradually boost norepinephrine levels. I've tried for so many years to just get things under control by will power alone, but sometimes it's simply brain chemistry.
Can't say this is something I'd start a thread about, mainly because most people simply can't understand how debilitating these kinds of things are. It feels great to finally be focused, now that the paranoia, hallucinations, and mood swings have begun to subside. Even my HPPD has finally subsided after several years.
Most likely if you're bi-polar, and being active (i.e. regular exercise) isn't helping, you probably just need to find the right meds to balance you out. I know people well into their 40's and 50's whose lives have been completely ruined by bi-polar disorder, and related mental illnesses. It's tough to maintain a positive attitude at times, but it's possible to pull through okay with the right combination of treatments. |

May I ask, have you been formally diagnosed with bi-polar disorder? If not, what is your intense interest in this 3-year-old thread? |
I would almost guarantee he has one or more personality disorders. Too much lucidity for a manic phase.

Two things:
1) You are arguing with a medical professional.
2) Theories proven correct are called theorems. The earth being round was once just a theory and has since been proven correct; hence it is a theorem. |

We also never landed on the moon, Elvis is alive, Janis is alive, MJ too, I won't even start on Senna, 9/11 was an inside job, the us government is keeping the truth about alienz from us, we will all die on 21. december, we all died in 2000, then again in 2001, and in all of these years too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...calyptic_events
Scientists are a single group of evil people, too. |
