you need to fathom what a spiritual person like him is saying.

demons are real. nightlife = devil's night

there was some hot ass chick that died last year in tdot from ed up put in her drink and no one came to help her. that's the devil's plan right there.

there's a difference between spiritual and religious.
i think blaming whatever problems you've had on satan or demons is kinda childish. but whatever, it's peoples' beliefs.

Yeah, your country doesn't take care of it's mentally ill population.

Don't get pissed at me, dude. I'm not American.

Exactly- which is why you have little credibility talking about things in America that you don't really know about (and trying to make a partisan issue of it). Our country gives more overall dollars and has more taxpayer funded social programs for the mentally ill than any other country, I'd be willing to bet. Every state has scores of facilities for that stuff. How in the heck can you say the U.S. doesn't take care of it's mentally ill? What are you looking for, Utopia? There's only so much you can do... the bulk of people with severe mental disorders can only be helped to a point, and can't be expected to morph into rational, productive members of society anyway.
Krypton
Money doesn't always equate to satisfactory results. I find it reprehensible that healthcare is the number one reason people go bankrupt in this country.

We take care of our sick. You don't. My roommate who is looking over my shoulder as I type, said this time, I shouldn't back down because your country does a very poor job of caring for it's mentally ill. (She has an MD and just finished her phd in psychiatry at Stanford.) And she is American.

But common sense, dude, if you took proper care of your mentally ill, they wouldn't be in prisons. You yourself said prisons in all of your states are full of the mentally ill.

Go figure.

I quote her.

God... enough of the "I went to Stanford" bull already. That doesn't equate to knowing your from your elbow on everything. What a coincidence that you happen to have a roomate simultaneously reading this who just finished her MD in psychiatry. I ACTUALLY have psychologist and psychiatriast friends, one who worked as a prison psychologist for the California federal prison system for the last 5+ years (John Craig Williams, PsyD- look him up if you don't believe me)... so I'm going to call him and ask him his take on your roomate's comment, which I believe is bull (if she even exists). Then I'm going to report back to you so you can see the foolishness of your "know it all" comments. Ask your supposed roomate why she's in the field if she doesn't believe this country helps the mentally ill... and if she wants to call the millions of mental health professionals and social workers around the country to let them know they too don't know what the they're talking about when they say they are making a difference.

Such a near sighted comment. "Mentally ill" is a very general statement. Yeah I said all prisons in every state have mentally ill popiulations... mentally ill people are just more likely to commit crimes compared to the general popluation, so of course there will be plenty of them in there. I also said each state has tons of taxpayer funded mental health facilities for those people. You can't say if we took care of them, they wouldn't be in prison... that's a shortcut to thinking. You are assuming that irrational people can be taught to think and behave rationally; perhaps some can through truly self motivating behavior management and a pharmaceutical cocktail; but generally speaking, the severely mentally ill can only be managed for the most part.
Echo of Silence
Oh, so if they can only be "managed," they can only be managed by prisons?

lol, okay.

Did someone say Ronald Reagan?

Prisons in every state are full of mentally ill people. Ronald wasn't governor of any of those states then or now, and those rates are even higher today than 25 years ago during his tenure. You've had plenty of Democrat leadership in CA between Regan and now, along with social programs for the mentally ill out the arse... so then why hasn't the problem been cleaned up if it was a Regan problem?

I think you should take a second to reflect on the spelling of your savior's name.
Lebezniatnikov
Also, I know like professors and , I'm going to call them all and get them to tell me that your friend in that field is WRONG so nanna-nanna-booboo! But don't you come back at me with credentials, because all your credentials are LIES!
Echo of Silence
We should do a "my friends are bigger and better than yours" thread.

:haha:
