Farber writes for SI yes, but he's lived in Montreal for a while and I think he still might. He knows his stuff even if you say he likes the unicorn trance.
I like Engels too. Surprising given this guy is really young and has not been doing this for a long time at all!
As for Eklund, the guy pulls stuff out of his ass and mentions "Habs" in every 2nd post just to get the MTL hits. And I also stumbled on how he comes up with his supposed "rumors": http://hockeybuzzhogwash.com/rumourgen.htm |

um you mean at 5 on 5 right? because the score was 3-2 yesterday:p
leafs get phaneuf and possibly giguere.
habs need to trade everyone and get to last place for the overall first rounder imo....if they could not score on 5 on 5 before, losing their best goal scorer will only make it worse. |

TOSKALA + BLAKE for JS Giguere confirmed.
"The Calgary Flames have traded defenceman Dion Phaneuf, forward Fredrik Sjostrom, and prospect defenceman Keith Aulie to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for forwards Matt Stajan, Niklas Hagman, Jamal Mayers and defenceman Ian White."
Boston will get the first overall pick for sure now.(leafs traded it for kessel) |

I'm hoping to see them win 2 for 2 for games I've been at.
I was in North Carolina for the holidays and watched them beat the canes 5-1 on their home turf.
I was entertained :)

So it looks like Camilleri is out for at least 6 weeks.
season was over even with him, now the nail is in the coffin. What does Bob the (bad) Builder do now?
Something to keep in mind:
The Habs have about $46 million committed to payroll without the following players under contract for next season.
M.Lapierre
M.D'Agostini
B.Pouliot
S.Kosyn
T.Plekanec
C.Price
J.Halak
gone for sure = Lapierre, Dags, S.Kost, (one goalie)...still not enough cash left to sign Pouilot (he has earned it), Pleks, and the other goalie because there will be many roster holes to fill. (also salary cap is going down...by how much who knows?)
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
it is going to be a long couple of years.
thanks for Gomez and the other retarded contracts Bob Villa.
anyone remember the "5 year plan"? Seems to me we will be going on year 7 and they are worse than when they started.
SIGH. |
