yeah, Leafs are five points up on Edmonton with 20 games left. They lost even bit more scoring up front with Poni traded but Edmonton looks sooo bad right now.
90 mins to go...you're probably right but the last hour could produce something newsworthy, we'll see :p. Lots of parity and cap issues too. |

the winner of the day so far looks like Phoenix.
they finally got rid of Mueller, and picked up a few decent assets for nothing. Not enough for a cup run imo, but they got better today and it cost them zilch.
Halpern to LA is interesting.
the Caps added a little grit.

Phoenix is really overachieving this year, sort of like the U.S. hockey team though they did fizzle out last year toward the end.

Considering all but one game between the two teams has gone to at least overtime it doesn't surprise me this one went to a shootout. |

What are you talking about...there is a huge upside to being a Toronto Maple Leaf
1. You don't have to play for free and watch the man make all kinds of money off you during the playoffs
2. You get to hit the golf courses two months before the other players.
3. You get to spend more time with your family |
