season was over even with him, now the nail is in the coffin. What does Bob the (bad) Builder do now?
Something to keep in mind:
The Habs have about $46 million committed to payroll without the following players under contract for next season.
M.Lapierre
M.D'Agostini
B.Pouliot
S.Kosyn
T.Plekanec
C.Price
J.Halak
gone for sure = Lapierre, Dags, S.Kost, (one goalie)...still not enough cash left to sign Pouilot (he has earned it), Pleks, and the other goalie because there will be many roster holes to fill. (also salary cap is going down...by how much who knows?)
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
it is going to be a long couple of years.
thanks for Gomez and the other retarded contracts Bob Villa.
anyone remember the "5 year plan"? Seems to me we will be going on year 7 and they are worse than when they started.
SIGH. |
I agree with you on 110%.
If Burk could of done what he did yesterday, SURELY we can do something by trading our young players for something good. MY HOPES is to lose as MANY games as possible and get a good first round pick. |

If by young player, you mean D'agostini. yes
If by young player, you mean Subban, then no I completely disagree.
I don't think the Habs are exactly buyers right now. I don't think getting a rent-a-player will do us any good at all. Let's lock up Pleks AT LEAST, maybe slight raise for pouliot and price/halak and we'll see for the rest.
but like freak said...things are definitely not looking good...We're lucky the rest of the Eastern conference is sucking it up just as much as us, otherwise we'd be MUCH farther out of the playoffs. Just look at the West. |

d'agostini gets a 3rd round pick if we trade him in the best case scenario.
what has he done other than not skate and shoot pucks at goalies uniform logos?
you guys don't want to hear this, but markov is our best asset to trade right now, and we should do it. price + markov = decent player and 1st round picks.
markov = 31 years old...we will not be able to contend for a cup while he is in his prime, so sacrifice him now so that we could get more assets for later.
we need to begin the youth movement.
markov is gone as soon as he is a UFA, because he is a competitor and wants to win....something he can't do here. |

| i think markov will resign to montreal personally... |

he doesn't want to be captain for a reason...he hates losing.
he = 31 years old.
do you think we can contend for a cup soon?
no. |

better yet
Trade ing bob the (bad) builder
What has he done since he's there anyways ??
ing nothing other than to destroy the team, ing kick him out ASAP before what's left of the team leaves and maybe we can salvage whatever's left for next (well 2011-2012) season. |
