he has accomplished nothing in the nhl yet, but thinks he can just have a spot? we don't need guys like that.
good luck finding a team that wants cancer. I say keep him under contract and let him not play hockey so he can think about how big of a dunce he is. |

ok ok im jumping on the bandwagen, season is just around the corner...
personally i think the best Canadian team of having a chance of going far into the post season is MTL...T.O and OTT have improved but cant seem them doing a great deal of damage
VAN could have a shot, same with CGY....EDM, even with good ol' Pat are hitting the links sooner then later
now lets just hope for Price not to *choke ahem ahem *choke

our defense is head and shoulders above what it was last year. If you add the defensive system that they are playing instead of the useless long pass cherry pick system they had last year...the only one price will have to blame now is himself if he comes up short.
I just hope they will let halak shine if price does not step up. He took everything with humility last year and was the only reason the habs made the playoffs. Any other team would have said, "you earned it kid, take us further" and they didn't. If they do that this year...oh man.
sergei could learn a thing or 2 about using opportunities and being a consummate professional.
i hope he finishes his career in the east coast hockey league playing for beer and coupons to nascar events. |

A man enters a bar. The bar has a robot bartender. The robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail and then asks him, "What's your IQ?"
The man replies "150" and the robot proceeds to make conversation about global warming factors, quantum physics and spirituality, biochemistry, environment interconnectedness, string theory, nanotechnology and sexual proclivities.
The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool." He decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around and comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the perfectly prepared drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"
The man responds, "about 100."
Immediately the robot starts talking, but this time about football, Bathurst1000, cricket, super models, favorite fast foods and guns.
Really impressed, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He returns, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"
The man replies, "Er, 50, I think."
And the robot says.... real slowly.
"So................You.. gonna.. follow.. the.. Leafs.. again... this... year?"..... |

it is better to let the person earn it , than give someone a "ceremonial" letter just because you are obliged to.
the c only means as much as the person wearing it, and if the guy who gets it actually proves himself, the french media (other than that idiot bertrand raymond who will complain as long as the rest of the free world does not speak french to accomodate him and his dated views) will go easier on the guy for not being french.
they still gave saku crap for all of the years he was here, and they will still give the new guy crap (because they are idiots that cater to idiots, a winner > a language) but probably a bit less.
that being said if the habs lose tonight i have to have a maple leaf avatar for a week.
they better not lose. |

he also bet me that the leafs would finish with more points, so all of next year when he posts you will see a habs avy:p
just having a little fun, the worst part about a loss will be the money i lost not the avy:p |
