Well sexual potency is extremely important to males, that is why they brag. In fact, it's practically the reason for any sort of competition, you have to understand.
Indeed, when he said something you disagreed with, you resorted to attacking his sexual orientation - why is that? |
First part and second part have nothing to do with eachother in terms of the claims being attested in this thread. You tried to use the given-new contract to draw a false parallel simply by repeating the word sexual.
Just admit that you didn't think this one through. |

Hahaha, this is so true, the "newbie expert" thing seems to be almost exclusively male. :stongue: |
Haha, so ing true. I think this is a humourous concept to us though because peer regard amongst males is intentionally very mocking. We tend to hold ourselves to differing standards for productivity - like, if you're not HARDCORE you're just an amateur, right? Females don't tend yo think this way, but a well of men certainly do whether it makes sense or not. |

I didn't do any of that, hahaha. Nice try I guess. |

I don't know if this is really a hobby... more like a pastime, but I like to play video games.
Otherwise, I don't have time for hobbies. |
Yeah, I think my running, swimming, piano, embroidery & sewing, and cooking are more like pastimes. I spend time every day or every week doing them.
I don't know what the difference between a pastime and a hobby is, I don't think. |

I think a hobby is something people actively try to get better at, whether that means a collector trying to find more obscure stuff, a musician trying to write more interesting songs, a DIY guy trying to take on more complicated tasks, or a weightlifter adding plates to the bar.
Otherwise it seems more like just a habit or routine rather than an actual hobby, at least to me. |

| Perhaps a hobby is an art that you do not practice professionally? |

Yeah...I think I just have a lot of pastimes, no real hobbies. |

i agree with the whole "fad" thing with females. that makes sense. i dont put all my eggs in one basket either and i tend to stick to a few hobbies and take turns with them.
i used to like to write screenplays and read "how to" screenplay writing books, and then i'll get writer's block and get discouraged and move onto painting something. i definitely bounce around between 3 or 4 hobbies and my bf intensely focuses on restoring his supra. so we fit that stereotype being discussed in this thread. |

doesn't really help define it, consider no one can agree on what art is |
