I love this vocal, passionate, deep, yet fun track.
Dennis is manic vibing, with Kerri Chandler vibin in the background :p

wow is he really like that during his shows?

Totally not worth any of the hype in that video. Also, someone in the video really compared it to Tim Deluxe - It Just Won't Do? :stongue: No. It Just Won't Do is barrels of fun if dropped at the right time, and Hey Hey doesn't even come close to matching the energy nor the enthusiasm that It Just Won't Do has.

Who cares? "Is the music good?" should be the only question that is pertinent to his sets.

They're completely different tracks, Tim Deluxe's is more upbeat and housey, Ferrer's is brooding and deep. I dont get how you are comparing their energies. The comparisons are there in the vocal a bit, but really two different tracks.
And i'd rather have a DJ that shows some character behind the decks and plays great music, than to just stand their playing tunes, everyone can do that. There are plenty of DJs without personality doing that. If I had a choice, i'd definately rather see DJs that express their passion for the music while they are playing. I know its all about the music, but if DJs are bringing both to the table, it is always welcome and seperates them a bit. And they dont gotta go to the extent that Dennis does in the vid, just show some sort of passion.

That's my point exactly. Watch the video you posted, it shows a quote where someone says that it's "The next It Just Won't Do." It can't be the next, because they're nothing alike.

Who cares what someone says? They are doing two different things, with two different purposes.

The point of this thread is to discuss music and various opinions others may have about it. Someone's opinion is that it should be compared, mine is that it shouldn't, and I voiced it. Simple as that, dude.

By the way, that is the second-worst call I have ever heard, right up there with when I was ten years old and a guy in my class named Robert Butcher got called 'Butcherigar' by some gimp kid.
