alimony and all that . dont women have any integrity or sense of pride/independence any more? i would want to just sell the house they lived in, take half from that and be on my way.
he can visit the kids and that's it. they should even be supervised for a while until he can be trusted enough to not bring the children around any of the 10 whores he was leading a double life with.

If I was a millionaire and didn't have to work, you bet your ass I would be off traveling the world. Why the hell would you slave at some lame job if you didn't have to?!
Also, this whole independence thing etc.etc. A lot of couples decide to have the "traditional" lifestyle where the man works and the woman stays home and takes care of the kids. That is a decision made as a couple, and as such, the woman shouldn't be financially ed if things go wrong. Just because she didn't formally work and get paid doesn't mean she didn't do her part according to the relationship agreement and let's not get into the argument of how 'hard' she worked as a mother. She sacrificed her ability to be employable by doing that (whether she wanted to or not), so should get half the money imo. If he didn't want it that way, then he should have told her so. It's not like they couldn't afford child care. |

lol their house is probably worth a few million dollars (could be more depending on how they have it decorated) judging by the fact that they live in a gated country club type of house in orlando, not a 20 million dollar mansion in L.A.
and when you split a few million bucks up, it's not THAT much to last you the rest of your life. it would be enough to afford another house of that caliber and that's about it.
i just meant that if i were her, i'd take half of the house sale proceeds and that would be the only thing i'd feel entitled to and i wouldn't want another penny from him.
of course i'd travel and shop and whatever, but my only focus at first would be to take that money and make more with it on my own. |
