He plays in the minimum number of events he has to in order to keep his card. Personally, I don't find him all that interesting to watch. I'm not disputing the guy is the best golfer on tour right now....just stating that he doesn't rank in the Top 5 of any meaningful skill stats on the tour.
He is great at getting out of sticky situations when he shanks his tee shots....unfortunately for him, he won't be able to use the "V" shape grooving next year...which means more missed shots out of the rough. |

I don't expect him to hit the fairway every single time....but when you are the best golfer in the world you should be able to hit the fairway more often then he does. His greatest strength is his recovery game. With the new rules coming in next year its going to be harder for him to make those recovery shots. |

No doubt that he's pampered, and it is annoying sometimes how prissy he seems. But, it's most likely because he is hounded all the time by cameramen and the media in general, that he seems like that. Don't know the guy personally, can't say. |
